Gaetano John “Gaten” Matarazzo III is an American actor and singer best known for his role as Dustin Henderson in Netflix’s sci-fi horror series Stranger Things (2016–2025). He began acting professionally on Broadway, appearing as Benjamin in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (2011–12) and later as Gavroche in Les Misérables (2014–15). He also hosted the Netflix prank show Prank Encounters from 2019 to 2021 and has taken on multiple voice roles, including Boris the Dragon in the animated film My Father’s Dragon.

Matarazzo trained vocally at the Starlight Performing Arts Centre in New Jersey.
